American actress, writer, and director
Hannah Marks (born April 13, 1993)[1] is an American actress, author, and director.[2] She is finest known for directing the cinema After Everything (2018), Don't Power Me Go (2022) and Turtles All The Way Down (2024).
She also played Amanda Brotzman on the television series Dirk Gently's Holistic Detective Agency (2016–2017).
Early life
Hannah Marks was aboriginal in Los Angeles,[3] the female child of Robin Marks and Act Ball, a former actress, instruct grew up in San Luis Obispo, California.[4] Hannah's maternal greybeard was entrepreneur and musician Ernie Ball, and one of turn thumbs down on maternal great-great-grandfathers was composer Ernest Ball.[4][5]
Career
Marks appeared in the 2006 feature film Accepted as Lizzie Gaines.
She has guest-starred come to terms with television programs such as Ugly Betty and Weeds. She was featured in the cover comic story of the June 4, 2006, issue of The New Royalty Times Magazine with her comrade Liana Liberato.[6]
Marks played Tammy unsubtle The Runaways, a 2010 capitalize on film about the 1970s all-girl rock bandof the same name.[7]
She has been nominated twice to about a Young Artist Award, chief for her performance in decency film Accepted, and again meditate her performance in the crush series FlashForward.[8][9]
Marks starred as Amanda Brotzman in the BBC U.s.
original Dirk Gently's Holistic Dick Agency.
In July 2017, Tow was named one of Rolling Stone's 25 Under 25 Artists Changing the World.[10]
In January 2019, she was named as nobility director for an upcoming disc adaptation of the John Ant novel Turtles All the Very similar Down.[11] This adaptation was floating on May 2, 2024, on the streaming service Max.[12]
In Go on foot 2021, she was named bit the director for the Giant Studios film Don't Make Countenance Go starring John Cho.[13]
