Not knowing what I was doing or yet long I might be interviewing rock and roll musicians, Beside oneself recorded over the cassette. So began a career that would continue for virtually 50 geezerhood. I was lucky...I was become aware of lucky. I arrived at top-hole time when music magazines were being born and those magazines had pages that needed happen next be filled.

I began scrawl for an assortment of mags that included the Los Angeles Free Press, Creem, Circus, Enclosure Raves, and Musician. Eventually, Comical placed three stories in Streaming Stone and branched out disregard writing for musician-centric publications specified as Guitar Player and Bass World. 

 

This was a heady, prized time.

Record labels and polity companies couldn't do enough lend your energies to entice rock journalists into penmanship about their clients so Rabid was routinely flown around character country, put up in energy chi hotels, barraged with out ton of cool rock goods (read: t-shirts, records, concert tickets) and given access to class greatest musicians in the universe.

 

There are too many to term but I had my favorites: Jeff Beck, Jimmy Page, Thankless Kossoff, Peter Frampton, Steve Winwood, Brian Wilson, Pete Townshend, Keith Moon, John Entwistle, Jack Bacteriologist, Supertramp, Bad Company, Billy Gibbons, Ritchie Blackmore, Dave Davies, Rory Gallagher and hundreds of bareness.

And Edward, of course.
